And the macfags take this. They have for years. I remember it being like that on 10.13. It probably was like that since 10.6.7 or whenever they introduced the appstore.
Recently I had to deal with boot camp assistant trying to download the drivers for someone's macbook after reinstalling windows.

>fail to download drivers (30 minutes for a <2gb download over 700mbps broadband and wifi ac, NICE FUCKING SERVERS APPLE) with cryptic error (probably could not write to NTFS)
>realize there are 5 year old drivers in Downloads, fuck waiting 30 more minutes we installing this
>try to copy to NTFS... its mounted read only and I can find no options to mount as rw after I could barely find my way around the insult to UX that is Finder

KEK. So what is the appeal of this over Linux? Maybe if you're into bottoming I can see the appeal but most people, myself included, aren't.
Anyway I mounted it as rw from the commandline and copied it without problems, installed them on windows and it installed Apple Software Update so I updated them to the latest without problems too.
Much fucking easier than dealing with fagOS for another second. Gave the guy his mACKbook and said "I never want to see a fucking Macintosh again in my life"
