A regular USB-C to USB-A converter will be fine. It won't affect the sound quality. Most of those are USB-C because they're often used with phones or laptops. Back when I didn't have a desktop amp I just used a Sonata HD Pro with a USB-A adapter(some of them even come with one) and there was no sound degradation.

You mean your audio jack has 2 rings? That's not an issue. 2 is usually just stereo, 3 is sometimes stereo + volume control or mic. As long as it's the right connector type then 2 or 3 rings won't make a difference.
