Would you rec a desktop amp over a dongle? I mostly just play games and listen to metal, but I wouldn't call myself an audiophile in the sense I'm trying to spend less than 500 dollars total on an audio setup and am only even asking because I tripped like a retard on a cable and fucked up my audio port as a result. Otherwise I was pretty happy with how my 770 was doing.
