oh, and you need to convert it to audio with ffmpeg (you can do this when you crop). You can ask any decent chatbot for help with this stuff, they're pretty good at writing up ffmpeg and bog standard python code like this. I recommend having it generate html graphs with something like plotly so you can zoom in and look at the results.
