You'd be surprised, but birth complications are much more common at 30 years old (the age we start having children nowadays) than they are at 15 years old (when girls are biologically ready to have children). There's barely any data below 15 because society does everything in its power to prevent that from happening, but anything seems better than having children at 30+. The only reason this isn't a major societal problem is that modern healthcare is incredibly good at compensating for these complications we're bringing on ourselves.
