I very much enjoy the Deck's layout and I do wish to play some games at higher resolution and settings, without losing all my button mappings (and the ergonomics), so I'd say probably yes.

It all comes down to price to performance: my PC is ancient, I have little money to spare to make a new one, especially because prices have been hiking so much in the last five years, and I don't have that many games that I wish to play at high graphic settings. If they manage to outprice a similarly performant PC I'll definitely seriously consider it

I'd love, but 1k for a couple of games, the novelty, and not much else is way, WAY too much for my bottom tier white collar.
