The most famous goths are almost all men:
Such as Marilyn Manson and Peter Murphy
Goth is an alternative post-punk movement, and much like punk features heavy criticisms of anti-capitalist, anti-conservative and anti-gender binary with many of the most famous Goths dressing effeminate and challenging gender stereotypes
Goth has always been a culture that is left-leaning, and whilst what was considered left leaning in the 70s and 80s were different than today, especially on the trans question, it does not change the fact that goth is anti-conservative
Even gothic lit. like Frankenstein has clear homoeroticisms, in that Victor Frankenstein only selects "The prettiest body parts" and then proceed to only select parts from men, substituting with pigs when he can't get any, because he's more attracted to pigs than women
Goth has always challenged gender stereotypes, had themes of anti-capitalism and homoeroticism and to say otherwise is fucking stupid
