Every revolutionary invention changed the world one way or another. Not exactly a lot of blacksmiths around these days. The car completely upended society. The computer. AI is going to need regulating because its some wild west shit right now but it's not some death knell of civilization either. Some people in Japan found an AI model designed to identify bread can help target cancer by sheer happenstance. I'm 100% willing to make the tradeoff of artists having to deal with AI piracy if it means a technology that can help fight diseases.
