yeah i think including mention of off-screen intimacy fills the need for it not being pussyfree while not being boring. Sounds like you're on the right track. You could probably come up with some interesting sex scenarios with the MC and Kat though and tie it into the NTS play to keep it focused. Stuff like cell phone video recaps maybe.
I don't like a pussyfree setup but I agree it'd be boring to have a whole cooldown sex scene after every sex scene.
