In case you want an actual answer, it's because it takes time to do that. When you literally have access to an image generator that can generate any character, wearing anything, doing anything, being anywhere, etc, you don't care if the bedpost in the background could look a little better. Not everything has to be a work of art. Even in the middle of generating an image, we're already thinking about the next 3 images we want to create. That's why we don't bother going back and fixing little imperfections. Unlike a traditional artist, we don't have any attachment to any individual image because it took the algorithm 5 seconds to create for us.

For the record though, most issues can be fixed afterwards with a bit of time and effort. I usually bounce images between stable diffusion, MS paint and gimp depending on what needs to be fixed, and I only do it if it's for when it's a commission.
