Personally I text the numbers just to verify they exist. Theyll give you the address like i blocked out. It beats showing up to some place and its an empty abandoned building.
In my particular place, its customary that we call when we're outside the door so they know to buzz us in. But theoretically if you knew they were legit and got their number from a friend, you can walk up to the door like you belong and just call and say youre outside and wanna come in.
