Look at the data rather than your nonsense anon. The African colonies especially were never profitable for the European empires. They were always a permanent red mark on the balance sheet. The one country that came close to making an African colony economically productive was Belgium, and that was an entirely different horror show so far past sanity that it almost sounds like retarded propaganda today (although it's interesting that modern Belgium never seems to get criticized for it, especially not as much as other European nations, even ones that didn't have colonial empires).
