There is no way for them to win pretty much. They were surrounded on all sides by enemies who were actively planning to dismember them. Some anon posted the minutes of the ministerial council for the july crisis a while ago and it's been pretty enlightening to me. For a long time I thought that their best move would have been to just simply not declare war but in reality they were in an impossible situation where not declaring war would probably lead to an just another war later with even worse chances of winning.
The best they could hope for is to somehow survive with minimal territorial losses. They would probably have to do something gay like giving up south tyrol to the italians to try to keep them as allies but even that's a stretch
