I've seen it first hand. A Mormon was having a religious debate/discussion with a Christian. The Christian pointed out that Mormons are polytheists.

In Babylon, the people worshiped Marduk, but they believed in multiple gods that had control over different spheres. Mormons are the same. They believe in a Heavenly father that is god of Earth, but believe that there are multiple heavenly fathers for different planets and that someday each Mormon will become equal to god and will rule over a planet with a harem.
