I'll be honest... my wife and I were in a bad spot for a lot of reasons, which resulted in no sex between us. Not sure which came first, her not wanting sex or us arguing. They say when a marriage is good, sex isn't that important. But when a marriage is bad, lack of sex is always important.
Anyhow, after a year I hooked up with a guy and said to myself "why did I wait so long?" Found three guys in regular rotation to hook up with (I always told my wife I'd like to have sex three times a week and now I was. Suddenly the marriage improved. Once lack of sex was off the table and I was getting my sexual needs met, we did a lot better.
