I could take it or leave it. It has to work within a very specific style or it just looks off. Plus anime creators nowadays are deathly afraid to use still frames for some fucking reason so everything has to be constantly moving or they won't do it. In general I think the gestalt of media like animation is getting overlooked for visual fidelity and smooth animation, which is a shame because it kills an anime's ability to be interesting past its visuals.
