This is the kind of stuff people who have no problem drawing a lot every day say. They have genuine problems with burnout, and to them a break is 1 day without drawing. I've noticed prolific artists tend to share this advice.
The issue is the majority of struggling artists have the opposite problem, drawing every day is a challenge, and taking "breaks" or burningo out can range from weeks to years. For those people, it's very important they try to draw every day. Took me far too long to realize this myself.
I still don't draw every day but I draw much more than I used to.
