What I always found scummy about Golden Balls is that if you found yourself as a contestant up against 3 other contestants (4 players start the show) who had already determined they were going to pick Steal if they made it to the final then you had a mathematically 0% chance of leaving with any money.
Literally nothing you could say or do would change those odds if your fellow contestants had already resolved to pick Steal. So you may as well be completely wasting your time. Yeah you can also pick Steal to make sure they also leave with nothing but objecitvely and empirically NOTHING you can do improves your own odds of leaving with anything but £0.00 against opponents who refuse to change their minds, essentially making the whole thing a waste of time for you.
