The thing is, "Palestinians" could just do the reasonable thing. Accept that there never was a Palestine, there never will be a Palestine, let Israel be Israel and become functioning, well integrated members of this country while facing zero consequences or repercussions.
But they can’t.
They yearn for their "struggle", it’s their whole identity. A Palestinian state could never function because they’d lose the whole reason for their existence.
If it did, Gaza wouldn’t be what it is now.
