We're running out of the massive high from the 20th century, capitalism can no longer sustain this insane middle class consumer lifestyle, the mass proliferation of the internet has exposed people to all sorts of insane perspectives and misinformation they can't properly grapple with, and we're once again entering a world where multiple powers call the shots. We're not collapsing but we need to drop the hubris and admit we have serious problems that need addressing
