not sure what the difference between the mk3 and mk4 is but the 3.5mm cable socket on the headphones themselves is small and most aftermarket cables won't fit
normally who cares it's just a cable except they only give you a very short cable with the headphones
also you can't listen to the mk3 via wireless while they're charging
