requirements for game publishers to have concrete end-of-life plans for online games. basically if its a singleplayer game with an online component, it needs to be made able to work offline when support ends. if its all online (like an mmo or pvp fps) then publishers need to give potential buyers a guaranteed minimum support date (we plan to support this game until at least xx/xx/xxxx).
