Its an Upland South thing in particular, its said outside of Appalachia too mainly in the non-Appalachian areas of Kentucky, Tennessee & the Piedmont in Virginia-Carolina. So I'm not surprised to hear its a thing in MO either, given the settlement patterns of Missouri's early history.
However "y'all" supplanted it outside of much of Southern Appalachia sadly.
