Kek that happens here too. The government launched a scheme to deliver drinking water to every household and provided galvanised iron pipes which the local thug "contractors" promptly sold for scrap metal and replaced it with cheap pvc pipes which cracked easily and broke apart within a year. In some areas they simply made a fake water tap with no water source within a 10 km radius just to approve the scheme to sell those pipes.Now people have returned to carrying water in earthen pots and empty refined oil jerrycans kek.
