I suspect the doors are actually mimics at worst, or illusions at best, especially since it's a "permanent decision." that just screams suspicious
I want to search the rest of the room, paying close attention and looking for seams in the brickwork or out of place stones in the floor, while being careful not to get too close to the doors. I'm willing to drop 4 full turns on this search
