For the same reason why only superstars can waltz into a job interview wearing sweatpants and a dirty wifebeater, fart into interviewer's face and still get the gig. I don't have ZUN's reputation and the things I'll make won't viral on the sole virtue of being made by me, so I can't afford the marketing momentum loss caused by using AI.
