Curious as to the logistics of this. You're volunteering at the museum, how do you keep the platecarrier accessible if you're there? I assume trunk of car. IIIA soft is often more concealable and can be worn on you in more circumstances. This also depends on threat model.

That's a nice setup. Is there a surveillance setup around the "walls" so to speak or is the expectation that there's no reasonable way in other than the roads?
Most neighborhoods aren't really built for defense, and it only takes a couple of minutes for modern McMansions to burn down, so I'd nonetheless be concerned about 2AM arson if riots got out of control. Fire extinguishers are a basic but often overlooked prep if you don't already have a bunch.
It would probably be helpful to group-fund a Mavic 2 Enterprise ($5k) so you have sky-based thermal to avoid flanks, but I don't know your layout.
