I can't be sure, but i think the photo in the post you're quoting is from a National Geographic article. The article in question was on wildlife in the Antarctic. The photographer was spending a lot of time in the water getting shots of penguins, seals, and whatever else for the story. A particular female leopard seal apparently took a liking to him and would bring him dismembered penguins and scare off other seals. Proving that every species has its degenerates.

It was a story on leopard seals. But there was a female trying to "nurture" the photographer. Remember that leopard seal females are frikkin HUGE. 8 1/2 to 11 1/2 feet long, averaging about 800 pounds with exceptional individuals being perhaps 12 1/2 feet long and weighing upward of 1000 pounds.
So I guess, just look like you're a helpless baby in the water and some leopard seal mommy will think "I can help him" and you're set Anon. Book your ship. I just hope you like raw penguin.
