I can imagine you got some really great images and memories from that. I agree, finding something to do really helps. When I say 'to do' it's like anon said there with having to go out, haul ass and take pictures. Something that really takes you away from the black dog of depression.

I've been in a similar stage of late, and as soon as the wallowing in despair has run its course I intend to get up and go do something productive again. Productive doesn't mean make someone else profit necessarily, it just means do something creative.

We all die in the end, no reason to rush it. Temporary problem you face you want to use a permanent solution for. It's just a bad day (or series of days, or months) - not a bad life.
