geissele is fine but their cost is 50% too high. There are competitors to their products in all arenas that cost significantly less. They are a hypebeast brand that would be excellent if they saved money on PR and passed the savings down to the customer. Their gas blocks are dogshit. Their bolt catches are dogshit. Their springs ~~~feel~~~ nice but are quantitatively worse than tubbs and require a proprietary buffer and again, cost twice a much. Their barrels are priced like high quality barrels but perform like mid quality barrels. Their handguards are unremarkable. Their mounts are mid. They've pulled weird bait/switch/don't disclose shit. Geissele is nusig-coded. Geissele's entire business model revolves around perceived value from a high MSRP. I would take an LWRCI or Larue eight days a week for less money and get more rifle. But I don't have coombrain
