Kind of, I think they make a huge impression on people who aren’t good at recoil mitigation (stance, grip technique, predictive shooting). If you’re good, then it doesn’t really reduce split time (time between shots) it just makes it easier/less effort to shoot. Porting doesn’t seem to have that much reliability issues due to no added mass to the action but compensators can definitely make it start malfunctioning especially with a tilting barrel like a Glock.
They’re definitely fun, make your gun louder, but don’t get the impression that it will turn you into John Wick as you still need to put the effort in to get good hits.
