I think we 100% will, if only because as you say there are a lot of areas of the country where population density and neighbors are such that the noise of a typical range really does get into nuisance territory. Suppressors will change the legal arguments around that at least to some extent.

I suspect there will be hybrid stuff too though. I can think of at least one range in the area where it's still operating after a big community debate but there are time-of-day/week limits. So I could see something like "unsuppressed firing 9am to 5pm, suppressed only 5pm-closing". I could also see even completely unregulated isolated private ranges having a day or two a week be "suppressor only" days just out of member demand, it'd be cool if you could go and have everything be suppressed if cans were practically throwaway cheap. We'll see how that evolves of course and it might take a year or three to reach enough critical mass.
