Drones only have any right to exist on the modern battlefield because they're cheaper than their countermeasures, but if you keep stacking more and more counter-countermeasures on them it will eventually start being economical to use high end systems on them again (or your gold plated drones getting shot with an RWS machinegun will make it too expensive for you to use them)
note that this is only a concern for thirdie armies who don't get a trillion dollar defense budget
