There's a difference between bubblewrapping your kids where they never fail, and letting them succeed in small ways even when you could kick their ass just because they are technically doing things correctly.
Like how do you teach a kid to play chess? Kick his ass all day until he gets discouraged? Or do you let him win when he's getting the hang of it?
