Religion is an excuse to control money. Temples started as granaries which turned into banks, tithing and ritual sacrifice allowed these institutions to collect taxes. Everything that came after is an attempt to shut down socialist uprising so that the church can continue to exploit and enslave people to do its bidding.
Jesus was chill tho dont get mad at him, he told people religion was evil and that they shouldnt use moral panic as an excuse to hurt people so they killed him and appropriated his message because it resonated too heavily to just ignore
