As scary as AI is I still believe it's gonna massively backfire for slopmakers. At some point even the least discerning of people will become to loathe the current state of art and culture, resulting in a influx of appreciation for that which is human made. Though it may remain to be underground, groups of people who fervently produce soulfull books, music and visual art will rise, and will refuse to have anything to do with AI or it's slop adjacents. Those who are caught doing it whilst pretending to be human will be forever banned and shames out of these artistic circles, and from these places a new cultural framework will arise.
It'll still take a while for this to come to fruition but it will be worth it.
