AI is following the same arc as most failed tech: right now it's propped up by speculation investment and is sitting on a 50/50 split between novelty and hatred. They're in a lose-lose situation where the more they push it the less novel it is and the harder people hate it.

Once the backend investments stop flowing - and they will - then the increased cost and limitations will shy suits away from it, and we'll see people using anti-AI as a form of marketing. It'll settle in the same niche as 3D film, VR goggles, or motion controls
