All forms of aesthetics are predicated on attraction to the opposite sex. Beauty as attraction to the female is the most primal and ancient form of aesthetics, simply because it is the form of beauty that evolved first. The recognition and appreciation of beauty in the opposite sex evolved by necessity as a means to increase fitness. All other forms of aesthetic appreciation evolved from this initial appreciation of the opposite sex, and are therefore downstream alterations of the "real thing". The only reason why you can appreciate the beauty of a sunset is because of women. The only reason why you can cry after reading your favorite poem is because of women. The only reason why you love your favorite artist is ultimately because of women. Without the initial germ of attraction, our varied aesthetic sensibilities would have never matured into what it is today. Women are the basis of all beauty.
