Im writing a nonfiction book (handbook) which I plan to be extremely graphically heavy. What is the rule regrading which photos/symbols I can/cannot use, especially government symbols (for example, HAZMAT placards)?

Also where/how do I source these to put them in a Word document? Should I just screenshot the highest res photo I can find, cut it out in paint, and paste it in?
