It’s really indicative of the bad faith of this board that a post about Barnes and Noble tier “history” slop by a peripheral associate professor at a college I’ve never heard of is somehow representative of an entire field of study. I’ve yet to see a single post in any of these trash culture war threads go and even cursorily browse through a bibliography of recently published monographs, that would be too deflating to the frisson of complaining about the most boring topic imaginable, American politics. I really despise the subhumans who flood this board with this shit, because you are playing into a manufactured fig leaf to do away with the classical university entirely.
