think i've had that problem when the VID guy tried inviting me, his steam wasn't reporting that he was playing GBO2 so the invites didn't work, but it should be fine since you're the one accepting them, not the one inviting
go right on ahead, and add me on steam as well since we use a server to coordinate CMs and customs
