if anything they're kinda just sidegrades to one another
ghoul trades durability for a heavy attack and the potential to do even more damage (AGK), switching out the gatling for missiles
fat alex has 2 melees, one of which reliably heavy staggers and does some mean downswing damage with that kick, while being able to tell every ballistic suit (watched the enemy kampfer cry tears of pain trying to kill me, made me actually feel bad) to fuck off
