Theres a big difference tho, UC characters, whether from spinoffs like Kou or Shiro, or later in the timeline, like Banagher, Seabook, Tobia or Uso, know who the Zeta and CCA casts are, the legendary Kamille Bidan, from the gryps war, taught by the red comet himself, and the legendary Amuro Ray, the pilot of the white devil, from the OYW and the Axis miracle, so its always fun to have them meet them, because for the others its like the UC version of meeting Lebron James or Michael Jackson, they're basically a celebrity with PTSD
Machu and Nyan LITERALLY have no idea who Amuro and Kamille are, its not any different to having them meet Domon or Kira, the only one of the 3 who might know them is Shuji (emphasis on might, since we still dont fucking know how much he knows), so the only really cool interaction there is having GQX Char meet UC Amuro and Char
