You can't refight the Nuen and some other humanoid story bosses until after you finish the main story, so if you want to farm one of their sets/abilities it's post-game only.
Wished I would have realized that earlier because I took Legion's helmet over his Factor and had to wait until way later to get the Mirage skill.
