They probably had to finalize the series list before S2 even aired, and tweaked things in S1 around for the debut (no Earth Witches or DoF stuff). It still gets most of S1's content done, with the El4n part honestly being one of the best connected crossover bits in the game through tying in Delta and L-Gaim's different ideas.
