You will need to gauge that on a case by case basis. Cuter girls get the waifu treatment from male fans. Clairo at first got the waifu treatment and she wasn't popular with women at all (Immunity era, she was astroturfed here nonstop). Twigs, tinashe, and sawayama were hyped but didn't get much waifu treatment. The latter two in particular, I don't know any straight men that like either. The other four were peak waifuism (missing there would be grimes), with midori and actor era st vincent leading the pack. Honestly most men who listen to women singers are gay, that's a fact. The poppier and more commercial the female artist is, the more likely the male fan is gay. Then there is the autist cases like male fans of Taylor swift (zero sex appeal and music obviously aimed at women with heavy lyricism and little instrumental experimentation) but it's her lack of sexy lyrics that makes her unappealing to gay men (she never cultivated a gay fanbase anyway).
