dude i feel you, surely it will get better when you can start writing and recording and you can have a chance to refine a single idea. my keys guy has been playing 30 years i've only been playing for 2, but it's a family thing and all of our stuff is just spur of the moment ideas. he says take a solo and im like bro ive already been improvising for 2 hours im out of ideas
