Big problem is, Japan's national domestic user (i.e. not industrial) grid is absolutely shit. As much as Europeans meme on US folks for not having easy home access to three-phase, Japan is worse. There's a reason why kerosene heaters remain popular, despite kerosene being imported.
You'd think those far-infrared radiant panels would be super popular, on account of their power and efficiency, but apparently they're not particularly well-known compared to other countries.
