>you will never get rid of
My grandparents bought this van brand new a decade before my birth and it was always there the entire time I was growing up, getting to ride around in it was always special to me.
It's mine now, and while my raggedy Crown Victoria is fun, the van is the one where selling it will never be an option.
So long as I still draw breath, the van will be there with me. Even if it burns to the ground, I'll get the shell dragged out back and see what I can do to get it moving again. Even if it's just some sort of freakish barebones off-roading rig.
Worst possible case scenario, I anchor it permanently on the property and turn it into some sort of building. Here's hoping it never comes to that though.
