I have a Black Diamond Spot 400, and it does what you need. One button to cycle modes (close-up spread beam, far focused beam, red light) and one button to turn on or off, or double press quickly to toggle flashing mode. Has it a memory function, so it starts in the same mode as when you turned it off, so if you only use one of the modes, you only need to worry about the one button.
